I am interested to apply for my parents but they don’t have birth certificates,

Is it mandatory or passport works for birth certificate?

Parents birth cert not required. Your and any dependent coming with parents require the cert to establish relationship between you and parents.

Why do you courier back documents from your home country? Just tell your parents to scan the signed page in high quality and email back to you. Then print the entire form and attach the signed page. I did the same. I am still waiting for AOR but in August I received an email to update form 5669. It means everything else was ok.

AFAIK scanned signatures are not acceptable for paper applications. For online applications, they are. Although, I'm unable to find official text on IRCC's website indicating this.

I got the same letter yesterday. I was thinking of checking if there is any wrong in my submitted imm5476. Looks like this is a standard letter.

I got the same letter yesterday however i still can't link the application. Is anybody having the same issue? How can i link it? Is there a delay for the system to be updated?

I was able to link my father's account when selected application # and Family name and passport.
# of family members I selected 3 (me, my husband and my father). My mom is also in the application but because they are divorced she is not counting in this case. I was able to link it this way. Maybe it will help.

But still, I can't link the application to see what is going on with my process as a sponsor. I was able to link only my father's

Do not waste your time. Applications to become a sponsor can't be linked ( there is a list of applications which can be linked on the web site and applications to become a sponsor are not in it).

My question is what does ACCEPTED means in this context : is it that, that it just has been received ir does it mean that it has gone through an initial review.

What is AFAIK? And if you dont have rejection experience nor IRCC forbids it anywhere then how can you say it is not acceptable?

Hi I would like to ask some feedback/thoughts on below situation.

We have just submitted our application package last Sept 17 and it was delivered (as per Canada Post) last Sept 20. I have a question regarding form IMM0008 for the last entry date in Canada. My mom (principal applicant) is currently staying with us here in Canada and we indicated in the form that the last entry date was April 2018 when she arrived this year via YVR. However we just realized now that we did a day trip to the US during Canada day weekend last July and had a land border exit/entry. Do we need to send an updated IMM0008 to correct the last entry date or do we wait for further instructions? Will this have an impact on the application and be considered as misrepresentation of facts? It was an honest ommission as it was only a day trip and slipped our minds when filling up the form. Thanks for the feedback.

What does "Decision Made" means for the principal applicant? Could it mean anything? Rejected or Accepted?

Anybody has any ideas?
