Hey i applied on 23march’18
They send me medical req on 8th may’18
Medical done on 17th may
Done My PC nd submitted
Then they send me the mail that they forwarded my file to the delhi office and show the update that they started working on my file 9th august

So is anyone can tell me how much time it will take? And what’s gonna next?

May give it 6 to 9 more months. Very much lucky if you get ppt by the end of this year.

I am planning to sponsor my wife under family class. I live in Canada but do not work here or have a source of income inside Canada. I basically depend on money I get from family support.

I am required to write a detailed explanation of how I am going to be able to support my wife.

YES that's what they like to know , how you plan to support your future family? May try to include relative's support or other sources. As I read they don't need specific income levels but Q is still there.

Hi,
I have applied for spousal sponsorship and sent the file to CIC and they received it on Aug 23.
However I am still waiting for ar acknowledgment.
There's no communication yet from CIC.

When I can expect reply form them

Any idea?

My Application was forwarded to NDVO on 04th August. Received AOR 2 on the 09th of August.
Haven't heard anything from them since then.
This is getting so painful now.
Does anyone has an idea how much time this take in general for an officer to start processing my application?

I can understand your feelings and I am also suffers they will take 6 months

Does an application go back to canada after the final review from the local VO for the proceedings or the ppr is triggered from the VO itself ??

Hi, I wanted to know if there is anyone else out there that is in the same situation as me. My spousal sponsorship file was sent in mid May 2018, I have been waiting since then. Is there any applicants from May who are still waiting on their file number and status (AOR)? It has been over 100 days and I seriously do not know what I should do, I am very frustrated at this point. Please, if you are a May or even June 2018 applicant then please share your thoughts and let me know as it would really help me out.

This happen to me because my husband send error email when he sent application for this reason they sent us email and we dont get it , my husband call cic and they send us another email , for 6 months we dont get AOR just for this error be careful about email , is so important.

Hi, thanks for responding. I have been waiting for a long time now. Im just waiting for the end of this week. Afterwards, Im calling them. My instincts do tell me there is definitely something wrong. Either they have sent me the email long back but I didn’t receive it or maybe another reason. My husband and I are desperately waiting for some sort of communication from CIC.

FYI all guys and gals;- Sydney ( OUTLAND CPC) is currently processing 24th JULY Confirmed. But again every file/every desk is different. Some files are still stacked in heavy loads due to transfer from M to S CPC so you never know whose turn will be next for getting a file number or AOR1
