Got PPR today, after a long wait.

Aor: April 21, 2018,
Medical passed: Somewhere end of April.
PPR: Sept 17, 2018

Nothing in between. Went from medical passed to here's your PPR.

FSW-O from USA. Processed in Montreal.

Congrats a ton on your PPR. It is great to know someone from this Montreal VO got good news. May I ask you please if you move to IP2 before ppr or not? Mine still background check not started yet

The background check changed to "We are processing your background check" right when I got the PPR message. Still says the same thing.

Update

I got my PPR on Aug 28.
Sent my passport Sep 4
Passport arrived in Ottawa on Sep 7
Profile switched to approved (from background check processing) on Sep 17
Profile says I have a “valid counterfoil” with expiry Apr 25, 2019 (1yr + 1 week after my medical)

Now waiting for the passport back from Ottawa

I expect to do a soft landing in April 2019, very close to the last day possible
