On a side note, I am the sponsor and I did link the account using PA's info. But I am also PA's representative, although I'm not sure it changes anything.

Never received any email for AOR
Application received: june 20/18
I tried checking ECAS using my own uci number:
it shows: File number, and on sponsor hows decision made and still no email.
I would advice every one who is waiting for AOR try checking ECAS login.

So received SA approval letter and medical request today Aug 30/18. ( June 20th/18 applicant )

Hey, it's a little complicated to link the account. Here's what I did :
what I did is I followed the instructions here :

But I had to put the PA's city of birth on number 3 in order for it to work.

Yes, you can. You can use other information like the PA's first name and last name then passport number or city of birth. There are a bunch of combinations that you can try. Some people have their AORs arrive later, so they were able to link it before receiving an email.

hey, we sent ours on 21 june 2018. nothing yet!!!!
i am going crazy. so many others have same dates and theirs file have gone to medical stage.

We are also waiting:/..all we can do is waiting..can we apply for visitors visa ?

there are different options you can select, such as name... you can try. best bet is to call ircc and see if the application is in their system or if it is being returned

I finally got temp. file number today (June 19th applicant) and my file has been transferred to CPC - Mississauga. So, does anyone how much time it takes to get AOR from Mississauga? I have heard their processing time is less than CPC - Sydney. Is it true?

Yes, they said file will be processed from Mississauga. I don't have Sponsor Approval. We haven't even got AOR. Just got temp. application (file) number.

Hi, I wanted to post an update of our process. We’re doing an Outland application. I am the applicant living in Michigan, US and my spouse/sponsor lives in Ontario. Here is our timeline:

- Application sent: May 7, 2018.
- Application received: May 8, 2018.
- Acknowledgment of receipt: June 7, 2018.
- Medical request: August 17, 2018.
- Medical completed: August 22, 2018.
- Medical received: ECAS says Medical Results Received on August 27, 2018. Still waiting for mail/email confirmation.
- Sponsor Approval: August 31, 2018.

Just looking for some insight as to what we should expect the next step to be. We’ve paid up front and given the passport copy with photos to our lawyer as well. Any information is appreciated! Thanks!
