31st july visa application

If applications aren't processed on weekend then I guess most of applicants might be getting response today.Good luck to everyone and anyone here who applied in August?

August 2nd, Bangalore VFS.
Medical got updated on 27th.
Got another update a few mins back. "We don't need any additional documents."
Waiting for Visa approval

My agent has suggested going with a tourist visa (ETA) and tell the officer at the border if they ask that I'm waiting foe my study permitbuy since classes start the 4th I need to find a place to stay.
Then once my Permit is approved I can ask for a "flagpole" at another border and they will give me my permit then...
I don't know if this will work but it's what he told me.

I’m going to Humber , i got my offer letter quite a bit late but as you said 22nd aug considering that mine came much earlier , recieved my offer letter on18th july
