Hi,
How long it takes for security/criminality check? I have only one PCC. Received my GCMS notes last week(OrderDate-11th July,ReceviedDate-9th Aug) according to which my application is in CPC-Ottawa, Eligibility status is Recommended Passed by Case officer and it is last updated on 11th June. When should I expect IP2?

Medical Passed: May 4

PPR AWAITED

Wanted to know if there are more people in the same boat. Also, my spam account was set up to clear emails every 15 days. I never checked it until last week. Could I have missed the PPR email??

Hi P.B., don't worry. There are many in same situation.
My AOR is May 2. IP 2 since June end.
If you think that you might have missed the mail then you should call CIC to confirm.

If you have completely passed eligibility there is very little info gcms can provide though you can order.

It never states much about security check. But no harm done in ordering as you are over 3 months now. Now it's just a matter of background checks.

She will get AOR now.Because I am expecting a draw on 22nd August.
We are getting married on 21st September. When we are supposed to inform CIC about change in marital status.?

You won't get AOR on the draw, you get ITA. Once you submit your documents (considering minimum 2 weeks for PCC and Medicals) you will get AOR. Also, once you submit you have to update your profile for your spouse and pay the remaining fees.
In this case, solely on my knowledge, you won't have to submit a separate profile for your spouse. However, you need to submit all the other relevant documents like PCC, Medicals, Marriage Certificate etc to CIC.

what happens if your PCC expires?

my PCC was done on April 4th...my agent told me that Indian PCC is valid for 6 months so October 4th is the expiry date.

If the PCC has expired after submitting of your application IRCC will either ask your to provide a new (very rare) or use the existing one

When I logged into my CIC account today, I noticed that the main status was showing "Application/Profile Updated", but when I clicked on "Check Full Application Status" it wasn't showing anything updated.
What does this mean? There is no email or unread messages in the account.

Currently in IP2 stage from beginning of July.
