My mom is also here on super visa, We sent the medical exams and she passed, now they just requested police certificate and we will send it next week! I hope is that fast for us too

Hi...thanks for your reply. Let me clarify - I had a tracking number and there was a confirmation email from Canada Post saying that the package was delivered. What I’m asking is, is there anyway to see progress in ecas before receiving the AOR. Also, who receives the email communication from cic - Sponsor or Principal Applicant? Thanks

Here's the link to see status online before AOR - you can search by using your UCI# and last name and DOB etc

https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/security.do

It will be the email address you provided on representative form - And I guess you are the rep for your parents.

Hi everybody, I wanna ask for those who got the approval already then you sent the passport of your parents for visa then return back to you with the visa, so can I ask please if it says in the passport if the parents need to go right away in Canada, is there an expiration on their visa for their landing in Canada? I have not received passport request yet, but as far as I know, your parents will be given several months to land ( 12 months from their medical exam). So if they had the exam in July 2018, they will have time to land by July 2019 (unless their passport expires earlier, of course)

we are in the same boat.. I keep on checking online and still showing none. My application was submitted May 25. How about you?

One question, sorry if already discussed, couldn't find answer -

I dont have my birth certificate, I used an affidavit when I applied for my PR, can I use an affidavit again while sponsoring my parents?

I am also using affidavit for my parents marriage, as they dont have the marriage certificate too.

Please advice.

I used affidavit from my parents and also included a copy of the page from my 10 th grade certificate which had my father’s name. In the explanation letter, I mentioned that since I don’t have birth certificate, I am including these documents instead.
