No, I didn't hear anything until July 31 2018.

No, he got his post-graduate work permit in 2016. He never done the medical.

Send his medical as soon as possible.
And hope they will send u ppr before ur medical expires.
Otherwise they will ask u ur medical again .

I got medical request for my spouse on August 1, 2018 and IMM5669 request on July 31, 2018.
They said my file is in Etobicoke now.
They are still doing my background check.

Here is my timeline
application received: July 11, 2016
AOR received: October 27, 2016
Medical Request for me: October 10, 2017
Added spouse and sent relevant documents: Oct 23, 2017
file transferred to Edmonton office on May 12, 2018.

Dont know pattern but I feel like those whose files are in Etobicoke, they must be getting PPR very soon. It looks like the file from originating office (local office) was then moved to Etobicoke for final review and PPR as people complete their landing process at that office.

i got a mail from cic etobicoke landing office on 15 agust
they just demand for imm5669
and proof of relationship include but not limit to photos , id ,phone bills ,accounts,
description of relationship courtship.

on 16 august they request for wife medical


my time line is
file received 9 dec 2016
file number feb 9 2017
got married in oct
send update of marriage in november
got request of documents related to wife on 1 december 2017
got medical request only my 0n 8 dec 2018
wife added on 25 jan 2018
18 may file trasfered to irrc edmonton
on 15 august got request of document

so how much time more to be taken by cic

If u decide to go with ee . U have to withdraw pnp pr file.
I think u should go with EE . PNP PR CAN TAKE MORE TIME.
KEEP US UPDATED . WHATEVER U DO

my friend i will suggest don't waste money on ee maximum it will take 6 month more with previous and for new
same after ita atleast you will take 1 month to submitted the complete file and then 6 to 10 month processing
rest up to u

Do you think that at this point of the process, EE will be longer than the PNP PR right ? The thing is no one really knows how long does it take !

PNP Application received by CIC: May 20, 2016
AOR: Aug 18, 2016
Medical request: June 8, 2017
Got Married: Aug 19, 2017
Sent Add-on request to CIC for my wife: Sep 8, 2017 (the add-on request included her upfront medical that we needed for her open work permit. I sent our Ontario marriage certificate and police clearance a month later)
Wife got her open work permit: December 22, 2017
Wife's name official got added to the file: Jan 24, 2018
Additional documents such as photos, etc: Jan 28, 2018
Additional documents provided to CIC: Jan 30, 2018

We provided my wife's upfront medical. Currently on my my account online, it says "We are currently reviewing the additional documents you provided" and my background is in process.

hello, i applied for PR back in december 20, 2016
got married january 2017 and added wife june 2017
got wife's open workpermit nov. 2017
wife came to Canada march 5th 2018
got medical request for both of us on july 25 2018
got additional documents request july 26 like proof of relationship, wedding photos, quetionnairs for both of us and updated schedule A
Medical done Aug 9 2018
its been more than 20 months since applied not sure when i will get PPR!!

anyone with such time line plzz respond.
