Hi,

I am new to this forum. Here are my dates (inland application, Sydney office):
  • AOR: 03 APR 2017
  • IVM: 09 FEB 2018
  • Medical Done: 14 FEB 2018
  • Additional documents: 26 MAR 2018
  • DM: 19 JUL 2018
  • PPR : ???

It's been more than 4 weeks since the DM, I have been told that it can take up to 6 weeks until PPR. Is it correct ? What are the typical delays between PPR and DM ?

THanks !
Manu.
Hi , visit the document in this link below. Many people are sharing their timelines there and could give you an idea. You will find people who applied at the same time as you.

This is very unlikely from the people's experience that I have seen in this forum. BUt again, anything is possible with CIC. you can try to reach them by calling or send them an email! OR CHECK YOUR JUNK EMAILS..

Thanks for your answer.
- Tried to call them, told me to wait and everything was OK.
- Already checked my JUNK email 100 times...

Do you know what are they doing between the DM and the PPR ?

Manu.

Today they added an extra line in ECAS. Line 3 was missing earlier.

2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on September 22, 2017.

I applied on June 2016 by Mon Project.Untill now the status is 'waiting for treatment'. We call them and all the time the answer was we have not started your country yet.
Just wanted to ask that is there anyone in Asia who got list of documents or CSQ from same time frame.

Mine was July 19th, still waiting for PPR, apparently it can take up to 6 weeks.
Sorry! So once a decision is made, they send you passport request letter after 6 weeks or once you send them your passport they take 6 weeks to stamp and return back the passport. Also when do you cross the border?

You will received before 6-8 weeks a PPR. Once you have the PPR:
- You will send passeports, photos and Annex A by regular mail
- Approx 1 Week after, they will send you a letter that you can use to activate your permanent residence status when crossing the border.

Not sure why your is taking so long. I was reviewing the excel spreadsheet and most of them got PPR on the same day or week as the decision was made.
