Sounds like a ghost update from what everyone else has described on this thread. Approval seems to usually come a few days after and the card is delivered around 3 days after that.

June 21, inland, still waiting on my ghost update

I tried calling them today...but their lines are busy...so phone is automatically disconnect ed....my father is not well and I was hoping to travel asap if I hear from CIC...

That was quick! I am assuming you received PR Card today. Generally it takes 10-15 days for the delivery after the Ghost update.

hey, are you in Ontario ? we share the same timeline and i am from calgary, i just called CiC, and they said they dispatched my card on August 8th, but i have not received it yet. my cic account still shows submitted but it says it was approved when i open the application.

You mean we all will receive it by 16 August or only my family whose status got approved yesterday. My status is still showing submitted. I am confused

It will show submitted and then approved and then finally approved and please check from what day your pr card validity starts. Add 7 days from the validity from date and that would be your pr card receiving day. Looks like IRCC people are having a joint. That's why ghost updates are normal these days. October 17 420

I know what you mean. My flight is on the 25th of this month and if my card doesn't arrive by the 24th, I'll just have to apply for a PRTD. I hope your card arrives soon and that your father recovers quickly. Best regards.

Great! Thank you for your reply.

Just called the CIC agent and she confirmed that my dependents cards have been already printed and sent out and I might receive it by the end of this week... but my card will be delayed as the delay was due to printing and I might receive it by the last week of August..... she was not sure the reason...all cards have been approved and no photo were requested..

This is also confirmed by my CIC account status as submitted rather than approved but all of my dependents statuses changed to approved.

A quick question: I only see my name and PR card document number, I don't see my wife's card issuance details there. Do I assume that hers is also printed? Does IRCC just list the primary applicant and we assume that the dependents' card have also been printed?
