What does the email you received say?? I’m so sorry that your application is being returned but it makes no sense that this is happening after AOR, maybe the agent gave you wrong information. Have you tried checking Ecas??

It says your application to sponsor someone in the family class has been received and so on then it state my husband name. At the top it give a file number start with F and UCI number . Could the agent possible notice after that something was missing or outdated? Please educate me on how to check ecas because I'm new to this. Thanks much

I never heard of anyone getting their application returned after receiving AOR. Click on this link: https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/introduction.do?app=null and use the application number that you received (starting with F) and try using either the sponsor's or the principal applicant's information and see if you can log in.

Click on this link: https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/introduction.do?app=null and use the application number that you received (starting with F) and try using either the sponsor's or the principal applicant's information and see if you can log in.

No luck, not able to identify me using the info. Guess because the app is return .

I will definitely any ways thank you but call CIC i think Wednesday he give me temporary fule number start with XF and said if something missing there could be chances that file will return.

I had called them on Thursday but they said package is not yet opened. Did not get any temporary file number. So the wait game is still ON.

The process is not linear so it’s quite normal that people who applied a couple days after you receive AOR before you. Don’t worry, try to check Ecas or link to GCKey this week. You should be getting AOR this week but you never know with Sydney, they’re very inconsistent.

my application was received on 04Jun and was now being transferred to HKG office.
just received an email for requesting updated 5669 and 5406, meanwhile, also requested for a police cert
as i have been living in England for 2 years, need to get the UK police cert as well.
is it a good idea to wait for the UK police cert and posted together with the updated 5669 and 5406? cuz for the UK one i believed it needed to take around 2-3 weeks... (HKG one will directly posted to HKVO)
or should i just post the updated 5669 and 5406 first?

Upload what you have while you wait for police certificate. UK certificate didn’t take long in my experience, but maybe in depends from city to city...

It's normal once you get to AOR2 that it takes several months between updates. It's a waiting game. You should soon get a pre-arrival email, interview and additional documents notice (only if required), DM, and PPR.
