My worry is that this might happen while I am abroad. (for ~40 days).

30 days from the date of request. You can also request them for an extension or ask them to send them a request from your nearest ircc office.

Don't worry, you have 30 days to send your documents. 30 days starts from the day they send you the email.

Does anyone know how many days I have to wait after ghost update? I haven't received my ppr yet... Still waiting...

Better to renew passport. Even my wife Indian Passport going to exipre in April, 2019 renewed last week.
Don’t take risk.
By the way what is your nationality?

What is the best way to send renwed passport to cic and how long does it take to update?

Hi guys, so just to let you know I received the PPR yesterday at 7pm PST. Just have to send photocopies of my passport, 2 photos and in 2 weeks I should receive my PR. The journey is nearly over for me

What did it say for eligibility before u got ppr? Was it still in process?

Hello guys please help a brother out with little information.
I renew my passport recently so i sent a copy through IRCC WEB FORM,
Also, send another copy through mail to centralize intake Sydney NS. Is that the best way to send to CIC or i have to use another way, and how long does it take to get updated.
Secondly, i am May applicants i hope it wount delay or affect my PPR. I will appreciate your response guys

When you renew the passport, how did you forward it to CIC? Also, how long does it take to update it
