Hi Guys, just want to confirm that if the card is linked in the profile and when it gets approved, do we get the email notification?

I got email notification 2 days after I was approved

Hi Guys,

It's 102 day for me today and still PR card application shows submitted.

Timelines:

Landing - April 24, 2018
Photo Request - June 26, 2018 (There was no update on PR application after two months therefore I called IRCC helpline number to check the status. Customer Service representative told me that I was supposed to get photo retake request on June 06,2018 however there was no email sent out to me furthermore I couldn’t see any messages on my PR application which is linked to CIC account. He sent me an email to retake photo with mailing instructions to IRCC)

Photo Received By IRCC - July 03, 2018

Status as of today - No update ( I called IRCC yesterday and status remains the same // Application status is still in submitted state)

Did anyone come across situation like this ? Does it really takes more than 100 Days ?

Don't worry, you'll get yours soon. I guess it takes 3-5 days on average to receive the card after approval.

thank you !! i see people getting photo request,.. is for the first card ?? i am so confused.. what is the update in the account ?? can we track it ??

Hi Chaaya,
Avg processing time is 64 days for those who have all the docs in places.
Those whose photos are older than six months or not as per the specs receive Photo request, and this delays the process further. Once the photos are delivered, it takes more of 40 days to get the card delivered.

As per recent trends, I have noticed that the process has become faster for the photo request and people are getting updates in just two weeks. And more ten days in approval and delivery. But to be honest, there is no defined timeline.
