Okay I am considering doing this, but
He submitted online prior to pr in error so $250
Then the paper application $250
Do we do online again $250
We would because it’s the timing that’s an issue
I agree, the timing is an issue.
My application was paper based hence the online application will the first time i applied online

I’m going to talk to him in a few minutes and go this route
Do we generate a new checklist complely?
June 22 submissiOn
Aug 2 aor
We had a civil ceremony prior to submission and the large 200 person submission in France in July.
Should I be uploading these photos?
Also how long to link the owp?
Also they never stamped his passport upon reentry what can I use at the registry for health care since we don’t have the visa stamp?
Hi there,
I had the same question with regards to the passport stamping at the time of entry. I am a UK citizen and entered Canada on visitor visa which was issued on arrival at Toronto Pearson Airport but there are no stamps on my passport. I do however have an entry stamp on the same passport from my visit in Feb 2018.
I have kept my boarding passes and electronic travel authorizations as proofs as to when i arrived.
I submitted them with my PR application as a proof of status in Canada.
Does anyone know anything about this?
Regards
Yasir
Hi guys!
My application was received on June 13th and I was recently (July 31st) able to link both my PR and OWP applications on my GCKey account. Both of my application statuses say "submitted" but I have not received AOR yet. Does this mean I'll receive it soon and my application won't be sent back? Or is there still a chance that it will get sent back to me?
Thanks in advance for your help!

And because of the error it says refused but that’s was because he applied before the pr was in que.
How do I reach an agent
GOT MY AOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! JUNE 20
Me Canadian
Husband French
We were married in March and were late submitted, but included the criminal record and Schedule A in our Application for PR = OWP.
My husband returned from our reception yesterday. Was only gone 28 days, and his original visitor visa expired July 22.
They let him in the county no problem showing the marriage certificate and receipts for the PR + OWP BUT they didn't stamp his passport in Vancouver (live in Calgary).
1.How do I get him provincial health care now without the visitor stamp (and no news on the PR).
2. also who normally gets fast working permits? this is all we are excited about
Applied for Inland Spousal Sponsorship for PR & OWP
June 21, 2018 - Application sent.(Police check and Schedule A submitted upfront)
June 22, 2018 - Application delivered to Processing Centre.
Current waiting.........
we also have the same problem, my husband couldn't add me to his health care ( in AB) cause they didnt stamp on my passport when I entered the country. Unfortunately they no longer stamp on passport anymore since last year or 2 years ago. So the health care in AB told us that I need the first letter from CIC to prove that I did apply for inland sponsorship which I assume that is AOR

Best bet is to call and find out. If it says submitted, then it means they have received it and started processing it. You should've received an email. Hope everything works out. Good luck. The phone number is 18882422100, then select option 2 then 1 then 0. You'll probably get hung up on multiple times, but keep calling. They might be closed now, I am not sure what the timings are ...
AoR email received today....yippy..................
Application submitted on 27th June and AoR on 4th August.
Going to try to create an online account now as i have UCI and file numbers

Hi there, you should check your ECAS with the sponsor's info, if it shows they sent aor to you already but you didnt receive it which means there is some technical problem and then you should report CIC to resend it to you.

I think you should be able to link your app right away, did you put 2 on applicant number or something like that
Morning Folks,
Spoke to my immigration consultant with regards to the OWP and the processing time, according to him, the paper based application is currently at 109 days and the online application is 51 days.
I applied for OWP with my PR application and they were posted together.
Recommendation is to apply online for OWP again once i receive the AoR.
The cost is CAD 250 but the processing time is halved.
Must say that i am a little frustrated with the lengthy processing time but i guess it is a high workload with limited resources challenge.
I agree with the proposed scheme to bringing everything online and have document checklist so that they can streamline the process and take away the human error aspect of application submission.
OK, my rant for the day is done....sorry
I am a bit confused about your post.
We applied for PR spousal sponsorship and also the OWP same time. we just received our AOR on the 3rd. Do you mean to say to shorten the time for owp to apply again online? wouldnt that be confusing for CIC to have two separate applications for the same person?
Hi Everyone!!
If you are looking to link your application we did ours the day after and that is what we did:
We use the FAMILY NAME + GIVEN NAME + DOB (The applicant has 2 last names, we wrote it spaced and in capital letters)
PASSPORT INFORMATION and we use the number 2 for number of applicants.
We hope that this information help someone!
Ps. We could link our PR application, but we couldn't see any information about the OWP, is it normal?
Thanks!!
