I applied mine on June 23 and my review of eligibility started on July 30. No decision has been made yet. Has anyone else received their study permit who applied from LA? Please share your timeline then.

I am from Las Vegas and I applied online. I received review of eligibility on June 21. No decision received yet as of this time. I'm getting anxious as classes will start soon.

CIC's reason is that I have not satisfied them that I would leave Canada at the end of my stay.

Nice. Where are you originally from and how long have you been here?

To be honest, I have seen a lot of rejections in cases that are similar to ours. Maybe two approvals? But that’s it
