What is LVO and VO?

Local visa office is generally allocated as per country of residence. For instance if you are in India, majority have new delhi has visa office.

But some get a visa office within Canada, it's done as per load distribution.

Initially files are handled at CIO, central intake office of Canada and then distributed to LVO

Actually my application is being handled by my consultant and I cannot see any updates on my own. I can see from few conversations that I can call IRCC, will that help to fetch some details. And can I have the number also.

No luck with me :| AOR Jun 1st - FSW - O - USA Resident . Still in IP1. Processing from Montreal office.

I am wondering if it has something to do with Montreal office. Did they say if your Eligibility was complete when you called them ?

My friends... seems like my dream came true! I received the "Ready for Visa / Prêt pour Visa" e-mail at 7:21pm EDT this evening. I am astounded, and so grateful, and so relieved. Thank you everyone who has kept me company through this journey.

Hi, I used Skype (Canada calls subscription). The fastest way is to choose the following options: 1-1-1 and after transfer to Citizenship Canada 3-4-1-0

Like your positive attitude but "majority cases" is way overstated? Only 17 out of 247 cases in first half have been successful as per immi-tracker, and leaving aside two lucky ones, all are either inland or USA residents. Hopefully FSW-O (non US) start seeing some traction soon.

You're right. From what I've seen at immitracker, I will have to face a 5-month wait time.

I called through my cellphone from US. I know a lot of people have tried calling through Hangouts and were successful. It's probably the high volume of calls, try calling them again. Good luck!
