Adding spouse to existing PNP PR Application

I meant after CIC added your spouse ( in April 2018) they will take 6-7 months approximately to have your spouse medical request. Keeping in mind your own medical would have come after 13-14 months. I was trying to give you a rough timeline estimation but hopefully you will get it earlier. I am unsure if you would have to wait another 3-4 months after spouse medical because all the review on your side would have been done.

I called cic they said my file was transferred to local office (Winnipeg) in may 2018.
I didn't receive my medical request yet

I sent my additional document for spouse on 10th of july but i did not get any update
till now ,still saying we need your additional documents . Is anybody has the idea how long its gonna take to changed the status to document recieved??

I sent my wife's documents via canada post .
It took 3 to 4 days then her name was in gckey as a dependent.
I mentioned (add on) on an envelope

I did get my lending papers right now,
But i have to update the new passport # on my LP.as per my info its take 7 to 10 working days. But i m not sure about it.

You add spouse then they have to do my background check again and they already started it and background check is in two stage after my background check done they will add my spouse name on my file and after that they will do the background check for my wife and then medical and then PPR
So its long process now

Call to CIC and ask on wich stage your file is they will say you

I asked about approx time but they said me there is no time frame for that kind of application

In my case they added my wife's name as a dependent in 3 to 4 days . Yes i said 3 to 4 days not months.
For ur case they are telling a whole new story
