It is very unfortunate condition when someone’s background checks are in process and it takes a lot of time because background checks are done by third party so even LVO have no idea how long it will take. Just pray and hope it done soon, if you get remedial request that will be a hint that your background checks are done and you will get a decision pretty soon after remedial.

Do u know background time depends on what things ? There is no change in my address it is true because of the Lvo don’t assess my file ?there are so many people recieve requests for remical but still are waiting for several months and background remain in process.

Background checks depends on so many thing that i can not tell you for sure why it’s take so long. I have seen people with no travel history are waiting for more then 6 to 7 months for their background checks to be done. All I can say just pray that it ends soon.

I paased the eligibility and medical and now my medical expired .i changed my address 4months ago but no change in my profile .my background is in process i am very worried about my application why In Lvo takes so long time and when send an enquiry to it or consulate withMp there is not any clear asnswer and one knows how long does it take the background check and when reaaly finished i am very very upset

If your old address still shows on your gckey online then email the London visa office to update it. There are a few more applicants on this forum that are waiting for their background checks to be completed. There’s an applicant from January 2017 and March 2017 still waiting and their eligibility has been passed as well.

no feb has rcved ppr yet. only 1 nov and 1 dec has rcved ppr that we know of.

There are some applicants from June and July and a lot of August, September and October also left so yeah you can say that

When did you submit your passport?
I submitted mine yesterday.
Just wanted to know how much time do they take to send it back.

Vac received it yesterday.
I collected it today.
Took 6 working days.

How many June 2017 applications waiting for decisuon? I applied in June 2017 and complete sielence I email lvo and they said my file is currently in queue to review by immigration officer since June 18, anybody knows how long immigration officer will take?

No red flag no travel history
Nd i didn’t receive remedical request
I got notes last month in notes everything is clear excpt for security
