Also make sure that before applying next year, you are sure that you qualify financially before taking a spot from eligible applicants, and moreover now that you are in the system, IRCC will know that you have a history of applying even though in eligible. I still dont know why you would want to waste your hard earned $75

would say CIC should charge them FULL FEE instead of just $75 - literally they wasted the money and they wasted the CIC time.. AND one of us could get AOR earlier a week if this isn't there in first place

$75 is the processing fee and that is all CIC can charge, other landing fees with be paid back

But when i try to link app to cic its says no application found. I enter UCI# my fathers passport info but stl nthg any body plz help me wid ths. Thnks

Hi All,

quick question. I received the final letter to complete my mom application requesting her passport and pictures. We have been processing everything through the Canadian Embassy in Mexico (Mom from Argentina), however, she is currently visiting us in Canada and she plan to be here for the next 4 months. There was an option to send her information to the Ottawa office if you plan to be in Canada for the next 3 months, however, it was not clear if this option was for everyone or only residents of Canada. Anyone had any experience with this? How long after they requested your passport before you heard from them?

Why we have to fill out representative form ?
I didn't fill and I am not sure why I would need it ? to get information on my parents application? or any other reasons

I already have AOR and SA .. so if I want to do it now, who should I send it to now

yep, to get info, so from now everything go to parents and they can miss IME request for example

Well, as you can see how the current government is letting in thousands of illegal refugees into the country thereby overburdening the social services and CIC, you can judge that current Canadian govt does not believe in penalizing anybody but the taxpayers.

I have not received any update from CIC regarding my application and nothing comes up on ECas search so far. Is there any alternate way to find out the application status ?

Hey, when did CIC receive you application?
Have you tried with payment receipt along with entering the applicant details on Ecas(for example if your father is main applicant then you need to enter your father's details)?

I called cic last week they said your application is in process as per notes on the file. But no updates until now
