was your status updated right away after you submitted the docs? Mine is not yet changed, still shows something like we need additional document in order to continue processing your application...

like in few hours, but updated same day. And now it's updated to "We are reviewing the documents you have submitted."

Anyone from group who received generic email to send PCC and other docs on June 5th has now status changed to background check started.. mine status didn’t change yet and I submitted all docs on June 8th …just curious as I see lot of applicants received PCC later than June 5th and background check already started

Hi there, I also applied for my parents during the second round of 2017. I just got the sponsorship approval today (June 27,2018) . As my parents are from Bangladesh also their file has been transferred to Singapore visa office. Do u know how long it normally takes to get medical requests?

No idea how long normally, but in our case, took about 3 months.

I remember, last year, New Delhi was faster than Ottawa.

was your medical already done when you submitted the documents? mine is not reflecting the same as you mentioned thought they will update it after the medical is completed.

Yes, My medical was already done, uploaded, reviewed and passed before I submitted PCC & RPRF which is under review now.
