Today I got a request to submit an RCMP document.

I'd like to know if someone has done it. I found a nearby accredited company for fingerprints but I don't know how it's gonna be, will they take my fingerprints then send me a document via mail to forward it to CIC ?

or I will have to get the fingerprints document and go to a police station to get another document ?

Thanks

The third party company has kind of cooperation with Ottawa RCMP (not the local one) so they will send the fingerprints to Ottawa automatically. So as long as you give your fingerprints to them, you will be done you part of this process.

By the way, timeline please.

Entering month 17 tomorrow.. So.. Anyone contacted IRCC to get info? Local MP's office (that would be Justin Trudeau himself!). Is it worth it..?
:(:mad::confused::mad::(
If I were you, I would like to contact Trudeau. As least inform him the situation about the CSQ to PR, you maybe will become the Hero in the forum.

Hi, I would like to share my experience with PEQ federal process:
22/June/2017: Applied
11/October/2017: AOR/asking me to link my application
15/February/2018; I was asked to do Medical Exam
16/March/2018; I was asked to pay PR fee
22/March/2018: Received PR fee confirmation
Haven't received anything since then and still waiting.
Note that I applied from within Quebec and am still residing in Quebec. I thought PEQ is a fast Track however its been a year now :(
Anyone with the same case???
Prcessing time shows 16 months :( Does it mean I wont get my PR before October 2018??
I have a very similar timeline.

Quebec inland application peq program
March 20th 2017 submitted pr application
May 29th 2017 got AOR
December 19th 2017 got mmr
January 12th 2018 did medical
February 8th 2018 request for rfpr fee
February 15th 2018 paid rfpr fee
March 21st 2018 recieved pre-arrival message

Coming up on 15 months and nothing so far. Very frustrating.

I'm not sure because in the letter they said that I'll need to upload the document on my cic account.

Hi,
I applied QSW through PEQ. The following is my timeline:

Application Received: December 2017
AOR: Feb 2018
MR: March 2018
MR passed: April 2018

I am an iranian applicant residing in Montreal, and I have heard that background check takes longer for us.
Anyone has a similar experience?

Hi Everyone,
After having my csq I applied for federal in March, 1st .
Instead of receiving AOR , I received email from them asking me to send them an original birth certificate for my son

Is it normal? Is anyone asked for documents (I already sent a copy of my son birth certificate with my documents at the moment of applying for federal )
