Hi guys
I received medical instructions on May 9th but my husband's d.o.b was incorrect on the form. I emailed CIC about the mistake. In their response they didnt clarify if they will send new medical instructions or to use the same form. We went ahead and got his medical done last week. He told the doctor about the mistake on the form and she said its not a big deal and she will make the correction before uploading the results. So now today we got new medical instructions with correct d.o.b on the form. But we've already done his medical. What should I do now??

July 2017 applicant, no red flags, first marriage for both and a 3 year old. Four year age difference between wifey and I. Outland application, both of us together here. Taking way too long, as we would have liked landing during school holidays to have enough time to settle and enroll in school. Received pre arrival email on 9th March.

From the looks of the forum it seemed like July people would get action in June, but looks like there’s been no ppr’s for the past 2 weeks. For earlier applicants I feel bad for you!!

from what i read in another thread is that some september applicants have started to hear back from LVO with decision made or more docs request.

so maybe us October 2017 applicants will start to hear back by next month, inshAllah!

@posse might be talking about the LVO UK thread on here.

I mentioned in there that I am part of a whatsapp group that is for LVO. It's actually mostly Pakistan applicants so I don't really pay that much attention to it (I'm from uk) but I scroll through it from time to time looking for date updates. That's where I saw September applicants getting DM.

would home maker or teacher or self employed make any difference?

is it better to show a continuity of what she has been doing in home country and that the same she would want to continue when shes in Canada ?

Hopefully we will hear something soon too coz it’s so frustrating really. Complete silence . In my status it’s written that we need additional documents to process the application but we have not received any request from them to submit.

It is unfortunate but back then processing time was way more then now. It is so freaking frustrating I know
