I finally got the test invite today (date on the letter is June 4th) for June 21st.. Please update my record on the spreadsheet.

My spouse got the test date for June 6th but somehow she never checks her CAS and we didnt get any letter to appear. So she is following up with CIC now. I didnt get any date to appear for test.

If admin could update that she missed her exam June 6th 2018.

If someone can assist with this question: Can I submit IRCC web form for urgent request for the Oath taking, due to a job offer in another province (for example relocating from ON to BC). I also have the job offer from the other province which I can attach on the web form. Would this help or anyone has done this before?

I don't think they will consider that as urgent..they'll most likely ask you to change your address when you move so when it is time for your oath it'll be in the new location. Urgent processing for citizenship is usually for reasons like..job dependent on citizenship, medical emergency etc. You could still call them to confirm if you like

that's what I thought. but just wanted to see if anyone had a similar situation and how they handled it.

*Status Update*

Ceremony: 29 May
Ecas showing Decision Made: 30 May
Passport applied: 31 May ( although we were told to wait 3 business days)
passport Received: 11 June

Thank you everyone for the all the support and help that I got here. It was a long journey, became citizen after 10+ years from the day I first arrived in Canada. So many hurdles came throughout this journey whether it was study permit, work permit, PR or citizenship(citizenship was not too bad). For each and every phase I mentioned, something just worked out in the end. My luck was no so great with CIC but when I look at this forum then I see some cases even worse then me. I am so glad its all over finally.

How is the Oath letter awaiting and you know your oath date.


The Oath letter was sent on the 7th of June 2018 but I am yet to receive it.
