LOL what a joke! Canada isn't heaven on earth. Every country has its issues the same way Canada does. I was born and raised here and I can tell you there are plenty of useless people here and it definitely isn't perfect. In fact the immigrants actually work really hard in this country. I grew up in a small town where a large portion were on government assistance, they were primarily white. Minus the cities, Canada has a lot of lousy people in towns. I hope no applicant comes to Canada thinking it's perfect lol. There are plenty of problems here as any place, racism exists here as well so does ignorance.

No, it's because we are Pakistani and they discriminate against Pakistanis. Pakistan is a perfectly good country making lots of progress yet media portrays it as if it's some war/terrorized country even though it's not. Other nations like India and the States are always trying to halt its progress by blacklisting the nation.

I can understand what you are trying to say but somewhere we made them do that too. I know a lot cases where some of us did exploit it by fake marriages as well. Its sad but it is a bitter truth. Unfortunately we all have to suffer instead of very few who did exploit.

No it's not bad luck. We are responsible for this mess. We are from Pakistan. I can list million things here why we are ourselves to blame for. We stand out at every world stage. Sad.

I agree with you on that 100% in addition to that our cases are hadeled by LVO. I saw some other applicant having same concerns about the way they handle the cases.

By the way, why did it take 7 months for your file to transfer to LVO? You applied in Oct 2017 and your file transferred on Apr 20, 2018. I applied in Feb 2018 and my file transferred on same date (Apr 20, 2018).

And I guess it’s true then they send our files in batches.

Oh ok, you are doing fine then. There are people from July 2017 who still haven't had their background check started (sorry @humy.11.23 ). My status is eligibility in progress.

I have not linked my application to the online system but when we call at ircc number and in the auto status they told us that they are reviewing my eligibility and medical has passed and background check is in process. So I am assuming that’s why it took so long

Every nation has criminals and fraudsters. We weren't the ones who caused that on ourselves, the world is all based on politics and social class. When it comes to fraudulent marriages, Pakistan wasn't at the top for that either. There are many European nations who were involved in that as well, many from the states. I have heard enough stories from all parts of the world not exclusively Pakistan.
