Convention Refugee waiting for PR

Hi all,

I came to Canada in October 2012. I claimed refugee in November 2012. I became a refugee convention in September 2016 "it took about 3 years and 10 months!"

I sent my PR application on Sep 26 2016. CIC started processing my application on Nov 10 2016.

The timeline states that I have to wait 12 months, and then 10 months to obtain PR. Though, I know other people who had it only in 10 months or a year.

Could you please clarify what the right timeline is? and when I may get my PR?

I received an update from CIC that my application is now transferred to Etobicoke office "Since I'm located in Toronto area" and they requested a copy of my passport to prove identity.

I am glad that I received this update two weeks ago, but I'd like to know how long it will take now to receive another update? and when I may be granted a permanent residence..

I did both on the same day I received the update. Would you know how long it will take? Please advise.

No one can tell you the exact time. It should get 3-5 Months more.

Yes.

Yesterday I got an update that I passed medical, as medical results have been received.

Nothing yet about fingerprints
