Hi... Did you try linking the paper application to a CIC online account. It might give you more accurate status than ecas.

Looks like your case of PGP 2017 is very similar to mine. My parents live in India too and I received the medical on the same date as yours i.e on the 17 May 2018. After months of trying I was able to link the application just today. Their medical was done on the 21st of May and there is no update on the profile. Saw on the spreadsheet that you have already received the 'passed' notification. If you can, please advise whether I should contact the CIC or any other step that I need to take.

Does anyone know how long it takes to get a death certificate in India, like does it take a day or two?

Same issue. Sponsorship status changed to 'Decision Made' in mid-April but no letter yet. I called CIC last week, agent said the email was prepared but not sent for some reason... and he will get it sent. But no email still.

Seems like long wait begins since your file is now sent to New Delhi.

FYI, many people are waiting on New Delhi 2016 now and none of 2017 heard anything from embassy there so far...

Did you get your sponsorship approval letter/email? If not, how did you figure our your LVO?

1- "Review of eligibility" / "Background Check" - I don't think they are changed. They were the same since start of your application probably.
2- Status for them shows not started so this doesn't show progress. However, they sent an email with Sponsorship Approved or something or ECAS (sponsor's file) shows SA then you are good MyCIC info for now as they are not updated.

P.S. Mine is accepted and sent to LVO and I see exact same info as you. No change whatsoever.
