Status update online shows “decision made” but no other detail. Is this standard? Will the decision be available online at a later date or will I only recieve a notification on the mail? Thanks

File transferred to New Delhi

Can any one tell me how long will the whole process take in New Delhi?
After how long is Pcc requested and medical?

first round, application received july 2017, aor nov 2017, in process since january 2018, decision made since 20th march. No email yet from CIC. Is it something normal.

Anyone else with same status as me or from first round still waiting for SA.

there is only one office where you first apply. Then it gets forwarded to a LVO, inside Ottawa, outside multiple

Is there anyway it culd be explained that one parent would never be in need for applying for sponsorship as he is ailing and wont survive long.

Why are you assuming your local Visa office will be New Delhi? Some cases go to Ottawa.

Thanks. Yes it was just my assumption. As you say it could be Ottawa also, but my parents live in India and eventually it will have to be processed in New Delhi VO, India.

Sorry, to hear that.

You don't have to sponsor both parents. If you have, I guess you can leave it as is and don't have to travel if a visa is issued. I doubt immigration cares why only one parent is sponsored and not the other.

As long as they are a married couple, both parents must pass the medical exam, even if 1 will be non-accompanying. Since the father would not pass the medical exam, the mom would also be rejected so basically there is no way for her to ever be sponsored while he is still alive.

There is no option to exclude a spouse from the medical exam, regardless if they ever intend to come to Canada or not.

didnt hear anything back sisnce then
status still showing application received

Hi... Did you try linking the paper application to a CIC online account. It might give you more accurate status than ecas.

i tried to link my parents file but cant every time giving error
but i checking status only with application number
SA done and got confirmation mail on 31st july 2017 mentioned that file transferred to New Delhi
after that nothing yet

i got invited 1st round too, my online status show SUBMITTED jfew days ago , after 6 months showing DECISION MADE. i dont know whats next. kindda worry

Invitacion to apply: april 25 2017
AOR jan 2 2018
Started processing and aditional doc requested (Notice of assesment for co-signer) Feb 14
I didnt get and email notification for “decision made” buy logged in yestetday and saw the updated status. There is no date or more info re “decision made”

I don’t know which visa office as I didn’t get any email yet.

As additional document they requested representative form as I have representative on file.

one of the form was missing , so my mom had to fill and sign and send it.
