medicals updated now to passed

Congratulations... I remember you were telling that even your parents had high BP while medicals were done...Did panel doctor recommend you to specialist or did they ask you to take any other tests?

Does anyone know what comes after medical? Policy certificate?
Will it require my parents to get the policy certificate from home country or Canada?

She had 150 with 90 and also takes bp pills. Showed the pills and they gave her an extra blood test because of that. That’s all

My parents got PCC request today
PCC applied today .county India Punjab

My parents passport will expire in December 2018.passport appointment for renewal on 5 June , 2018
( do not know when will get renewal passport may be within 1 month)


Now I have following 2 concern
1) if my parents PCC will be on current passport ( old) and when IRCC asked for passport for stamping then we will submit the new passport ( renewal passport)

It will effect to case as PCC would have the older passport number.
If we think we could get PCC on renewal passport then not sure when we will get renewal passport in our hand we might cross the IRCC deadline date to submit pcc which is 26 June,2018

2) if we do not get reissue passport before July and IRCC asked for passport stamping in July then we are in problem of passport validity less than 6month , IRCC will not stamp on current passport as it has less than 6 month validity issue.


What should we do in this case please suggest .

Don't you have the option of urgent passport renewal for additional fee?

ECAS update: Medical results received. Will it say it passed or failed on ECAS?

In our case, ECAS never changed. IRCC profile did show medical passed though.

Congrates for PCC. I guess you are the first one from India with Ottawa VO to get this request.

I believe it's not that complicated.

1) Passport renewal is understandable at any stage of process. IRCC would not make a big fuss about it. As soon as you have new passport, send a communication to IRCC that you have received new passports as the previous ones are expired. And when you send the new passports for Visa stamping, send the old cancelled passports with it. Also the New passport has the number of old passport at the last page so it's connected in system. SO I do not think you need to worry.

2) Apply for new passports as soon as possible. Try for urgent request is you can. I would suggest you to Not send the old passports for visa stamping , only send new ones with old ones stick to it using a rubber band keeping them bound together.

Medicals were done on 16th, It was updated on the My CIC account on 23rd and Ecas was updated with 4th line on 24th.

Thanks for your reply , I already make urgent passport request but waiting time for online appointment for renewal is 1 month even with tatkal passport renewal
