dear all , I am under QSW , VO Abudhabi, my case is facing delays and I am very frustrated with the process.
after 30 months they still have not started my background and security check. they have asked for update of documents two times.
second time may 13 2018. I tried sending emails and CS forms but no clear response. I would truly appreciate your help and comments.
Time-line:
Documents received by Sydney, NS: 15 October 2015
Acknowledging receipt: January 14, 2016
Document request letter: March 2 2017
Updated documents uploaded in CIC account: April 2017
Medical completed: April 2017
request for update of documents (2nd time) : May 2018 ( RPR fees were asked last year which was paid that time but again mentioned in the recent request letter!)

Hi friends,

can anyone please let me know under which category can we apply for immigration if one has Bachelor degree in Electrical and MBA degree and have relevant work experience but no job offer letter either from Federal or from Quebec. to apply under skilled worked in either Quebec or Federal do we now need a job offer letter? if we dont have that then how can we apply?

How are processing times calculated?
We calculate processing times from the day we receive an application to the day it makes a decision on the application.

How? Go through the passport request letter, it would provide instruction.

Happy to say i got my medical pass update on my gc key praise God.

But i noticed the documents i uploaded on my GC key under additional documents still remain as " the additional documents you provided have been uploaded" for almost a week now.

Is this going to change?

Also my background check is still reading " we will send you a message when we start the background check"

Any idea what stage I am in now?
