It isn't like they sped up your process after you sent it, they're still slow and ignorant as ever. Man it's so hard visiting them and then parting, it kills every time. I feel like I can't handle it again so I'll just wait until he comes now..

It means what they told you..its going through the usual background check that everyone goes through. It'll be done soon enough now, don't worry about it

I called the automated number and they mentioned applications received after May 8 have not been processed yet..

Yes, I heard the same thing. But the interesting is that there are many who applied after May 8 and have got the visa.

Ya I sent an email with the subject urgent as well however, on webform the max was 3.5mb not 5. Hopefully they accept the email. How did you know when they added the documents ?

mine was a name change request, so once the PA name got updated on ECAS and GCKEY i knew the documents were looked at and added

And since when is there an automated system that updates you on your application ? That doesn't make sense to me at all, if it was that easy why would people be sending emails and waiting an entire month? I could be wrong...

if you call the ircc number, it tells you the same stuff as on gckey so you can listen to the updates over the phone if you dont have gckey

i call automated system when i m free and nothing to do OR in washroom boring so i dial and listen to this automated system which is like DEAD since July 2017, they day i linked my application to GCKEY..10 months GCKEY has the same status....same as automated system as they both are linked to each other!
