Still no word from India on any of the 2017 applications.

Anyone can make a guess as to why?

is there anybody here whose parents/grandparents they are sponsoring are aged 70+ already? I wanna know if CIC still welcomes those ages coz my parents' application has no update yet til now they are 75 and 77. so I know if I should still hope and wait or not anymore. sponsorship approval was aug18, LVO Ottawa. thanks.

My father-in-law is 71 and received medical request email last week.

My parents received the medical request yesterday from Ottawa. But my parents did medical in January 2018 to extend their stay as visitor in Canada. Do they have to redo the medical or we can ask doctor office to send results from January?

I don't have answer on your question, sorry. I am waiting for medical request from Ottawa and curious how your parents received medical forms, did Ottawa send the forms using your parents email or mail?

We received an email yesterday evening for medical request.

I believe you can use the one from January since it's within a year. Contact the doctor with your PGP file info, ask them to resend.

call CIC, tell them that, and try to grant permission to access that file. They told me that one officer can't access another's file due to laws bla bla.
