hi, yup , i am in the same boat as you my friend. i applied by mail and did not get any confirmation . linking the paper application online is not working for me either. i think they probably have not even looked at the applications yet.

any body who applied in 2018 got any response from IRCC ?

also is there any tracker/excel sheet etc to track out progress ? it would be a good idea to have 2018 sponsorship parents tracker

I'm in the same boat - I cannot look up the application in ECAS at all. In the AOR, I received an application # and I also have tried my receipt number from the payment but neither works. I've tried entering my information as well as my parents to look up - neither works. Help?

How many people are you entering in the count? If you have a cosigner plus two parents you should enter 4. If only 1 parent then 3, if no cosigner adjust the count. Do not add dependent or your children only parent (s) sponsor and cosponsor if applicable.

Thanks for the response - but the issue relates to not being able to look up the application in ECAS, not determining family count. Anyone able to assist with more info on ECAS look-up?

You can write the name and address of the photographer with a thin/ sharp point permanent marker. But, did the photographer sign at the back of the photograph?

Signatures of photographer are not required, sorry I just noticed. As per guide 5772, following are to be written or stamped by photographer at the back of the photograph:

• name and complete address of the photography studio
• date the photo was taken;

Also, name and date of birth of the subject is to be filled by applicant.

Hi guys,
I am sponsoring my application for my parents; Father is the primary applicant and mother is the dependent
With regards to my brother, he is 28 yrs of age and is not financially dependent nor accompanying. Since I do not think I can apply for him as a dependent under the family class I am not including him in my application. I hope this should be fine. Please advise.
