A question to all people who have done their tests in Scarborough. How long does it take to finish the test + interview (like entering in the CIC's office and leaving).
I took us around 3 hours I think. We were one of the first finishing the test (within first 10 minutes) and last to have the interview...
It really depends where your file will land after the test. You might have interview straight away and be done within one hour or be unlucky as we were and be stuck there for a while.
We parked at the mall as well. Our test was at 11 am.
Well, the requirement is to bring all the originals you sent with your application; printed copy of the notice (test); PR card; 2 pieces of ID (health card and driver's license); passports (current and expired); translation of stamps that are not in English or French
Tip: if you did a lot of travel during the eligibility period, and don't have a lot of buffer days, you better prepare extras such as: colored copies of all pages of your passports, tickets etc.
At the same time, you should note that processing agents are different. Some will go through all your documents and give extra scrutiny, while others just ask for 1 piece of ID and confirm that everything is fine (I experienced the latter) in less than 5 minutes.

Not sure why one would need colored copies of the passports when you will be taking your originals with you, but they may ask you for stamps translation if entry/exit stamps aren't in English or French.
In my case i paid for the stamps translation and had it with me in the interview, but wasn't asked for it (it felt like a complete waste of money)...if time would go back, i would only do that step if specifically asked by the officer.

Test started at 9:00, I was leaving at 9:30. I was the first one out of the test room and just happened to be the first one interviewed. Interview was 10 minutes.

Mine was the same, finished test in 15 minutes, got called in right away and left after like 10 minutes with the interviewer. The rest of my stay there was while waiting for the test to be set up.

Please note that if you are like me and your test is at 9am, do not park at the mall as they do give tickets. The mall only opens at 10am. They know that people who park there before 10am are not in the mall.... Parking cost is not bad at all.

Someone posted the link below on a forum showing "Temporary offices" across Canada for Tests, Interviews, Hearings, Ceremonies. There is none for the GTA (Ontario). However, all of them are in Sudbury. I assume these are only for remote locations. Interesting!
