The last time I emailed I received a response which was at the end of March, your file awaits a full review in london. I have sent another email, I should receive a response shortly for that. Let's see, I really hope it has progressed from the last stage it was at. If I get the same email you have, I would be happy.

Can i apply for a visit visa while my application is in process?

yes you can apply, but mostly they dont give it and its a waste of time and fees. if you have strong ties to Pakistan such as a high paying job and a lot of cash in your bank account, they might give the visa. we have mostly seen visit visa declined when sponsorship is in process.

You mentioned RFI..is there anything special about it?

Well before the responses are from NXR. As far as what I noticed usually once you start receiving responses from RFI, it's do with the immigration officer by then.

London webform. Just fill it out correctly and send an inquiry. They'll respond in usually 30 days or so.

hummy has given you all the info we all know. we are all applicants like yourself and we are not immigration officers and we dont have any relation with immigration department. humy has given you all the info based on what others have said previous in this thread and what the trends have been previously.

I got my local MP to call London visa office and she was told that they are doing criminality and security check..not sure whats next after this

I did the same thing and my MP's manager told me the same f... line that LVO is doing background check. But in GC key, it's saying - we'll contact you when we start background check. So, who the hell is telling the truth!!!!

Ya I hate the fact they give the least attention to Pakistani applicants. A lot of discrimination, I notice that with air travel too. PIA luggage often comes at the very end and they make them wait the most not to mention they always have the worst areas in the airports for Pakistan. Extra inspection as well. It's like oh ok Pakistani applicants, let's just throw their applications for the end and harass them in every way possible.

Unfortunately i am not one of those “local british” folk you talk of.
