AOR: Acknowledgement of Receipt (email or physical mail informing you that your application has been received)

Your application will go "In process" when your file is sent from Sydney (where you originally sent your application) to the Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) office closest to your home for processing.
During "In process" state, the CIC office will complete all the verification and background checks and you will be sitting for the citizenship test and interview.
Once you pass all of this and CIC is convinced you meet or do not meet the eligibility criteria, your application will change to "Decision Made" and you will be waiting for oath invite (if your application has been accepted).

Thanks...is it true that processing of application is faster in some lovatiolo and some are very slow ?

Does it make any difference if you live in Toronto or some other city?

Yes, location is a major factor in the processing of your application. Mostly it will be your own circumstances that can influence your timeline.

I was able to track my online application last week but was only showing my permanent residence application as complete. Nothing updated yet on my citizenship application. But now i can not even track it,its saying my information can not be found. Last week i used my client number to see if there as been any update and now i tried my client number, pr card number no information found.
Anyone else having this issue?
