did my test yesterday its all good...interview they check exit entry stamps and ask about my job .....inform me for oath 3-6 month time at scarborough office.
test ---10 may
DM----11 may
but nothing change at my 12 years old son status.
i must appreciated all forum members they are really a great help...God bless all...all the best for them.

I do not think that is any cause for concern but i might be wrong though. Did test yesterday in Calgary and only wife got DM today, still in-process for me and my son.

Hopefully, someone with a family application with an idea or knowledge of how DM works for family application can shed light on this.

I got the same experience. It was just disappointing to know that my mom's application was gonna be processed longer than what was expected. It has been almost 3 mos since the date they began processing it.

Some officers are grumpy and in order to assert their authority making things complicated and delaying things. My fathers is 80+ and the ofiicer told him that some seniors do not become citizen as during the oath ceremony they are not able to repeat the oath after the judge. I told that I will practice with him before the ceremony and she said he must be able to understand what the judge is saying and repeat after him. My father speaks good English but he has issues understanding different English accents and of course age is a factor as well and he does not pick up things fast and his hearing problem makes thing more complicated.

hi guys i had citizenship test and interview last week in Edmonton, everything was good , but officer told me you have to wait for background check, which already they have my fingerprint for PR, what its mean background check after citizen test and how long it take? thanks

Finally today my status show DM ,but my daughter she is 15 status still show IP,what does it mean?
Anyways I m so happy today after 17 days of test my DM
