There were some issues due to my US entry and exits. After sending the document, CO called my office and I had to send some extra paper works. It was stressful and in the end, everything worked out. I am glad I am done with immigration.
Thank you, everyone, for sharing all the info and helping out time to time. If you guys have any question feel free to ask.

how many trips did you have to the US? I am in a similar situation. I have spent approximately 62 days in the USA over the last 3 years in 10 trips. Is that too many?
Hello, I'm waiting for a date from the government to write my test and now I have a work trip planned for the first week of July. My question is in case the government decides the day is within this week:-
Is there anyone on this forum with experience of rescheduling the test?
Can I ask to postpone/ reschedule the test??
How long does it take to give me another date and how far would be this date?
I am afraid if I ask for rescheduling, it will take several months as my application was submitted in October 19, 2017.

Oath invitation received: 02-MAY-2018

I was contacted via post mail because of some single-day entries to the US that I had not declared in my physical presence. After sending the documents requested (i94- i think, transcripts, 3 year notice of assessments for taxes) my ecas changed to DM within a few days.
It was very helpful seeing everyone's timelines. Thank you!

When you will go fo the test, I would say take a printed copy of your travel history from us homeland security website. Just present it to the CO. it will make his job easy and your life easy.

If you know your dates already, I would advise to call CIC or submit a webform letting them know that you will not be available then. So at least they won't schedule your exam then. In my case, I had submitted my vacation plan as part of my application itself, and I received my test date for 2 weeks as soon as I got back..so that worked out well for me.

Hello, just wandering about Oath Invitation , does it show on online e- status ? I mean application status after decision made? Highly appreciate if anyone reply thx
I have these questions in the email they wrote refering to Section(s) of the Act applied (if applicable): 15(1) The detection, prevention or suppression of subversive or hostile activities, 16(2) security
and they say attachment 0 .. police certificate 0?!! .. I sent already a police certificate I wonder if they got it in the file and why they say 0 ?..
other than those two questions I did understand police security clearance status is done .. and finger prints they asked me to do arrived in file and criminal check has done based on my finger prints and I have clearance from criminal check ..
it says test is pending clearance .. status: open ?! I dont understand that if it means the clearance has finished or not yet ?!

Frankly those pages didn't help me at all.. It's just confusing! I don't think it's even meant for making us understand anything, they are just sharing their work notes with us and that's stuff they understand and work with.
Just try being patient..it'll happen eventually for everyone! Enjoy the Spring till then

my stage is test pending clearance .. despite the criminality check was finished and my file was handed to my local office since 7 March
I think test pending clearance means waiting for test spot ..?!

Hello everyone, I have a question regarding the Canadian passport application for new citizens.
1. For mail in applications, do you have to send the original Canadian citizenship certificate? i.e. no copies.
2. When they return your original Canadian citizenship certificate in the mail, is it it good condition?
Question for folks who applied for their passport:
3. Is there anyone here who applied for their Canadian passport who can advise? Did you receive your original Canadian citizenship certificate in perfect condition just as you sent it or did it have bent/creased areas on the page?
4. What kind of envelope did the original Canadian citizenship certificate return to you in? Assuming that most mailboxes (especially apartment mailboxes) are small, how did the envelope fit in your mailbox without being damaged/bent?
5. Was the certificate returned to you by Canada Post regular mail or trackable mail?
6. Did you receive your Canadian citizenship certificate and Canadian passport in the same envelope at the same time?
