We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on November 16, 2017.
We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on January 9, 2018.
We started processing your application on February 1, 2018.
from Calgary. Never got that study book but just ordered it online and downloaded a copy as well. They did not say how they sent the AOR in the ECAS so I was waiting for it to come through regular mail as well. Apparently they just sent it through email.

Hi Guys,
Just a quick question besides getting the test invite from email, Do you still get a official copy through Canada post?
The reason i am asking is my ecas reads "The notice you will receive by mail will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment, please contact us."
Let me know
Thanks

I spoke to a CIC representative by telephone and she said to print off the email letter and take it to the appointment as one will not be sent via Canada Post.
Passed my exam yesterday 20 out of 20! Officer told me I need to send in a police certificate from the US, as my time there was more than 6 months. No big deal. I can get it pretty quickly. Good luck everyone.
