Wonder why there are no NOIs being issued for the HCP stream. It's been close to 2 months since the last HCP NOIs were issued.

Its all speculations for us as we dont know their plan... but they may issue some tomorrow as they hv issued just above 275 NOIs this month instead of 500-600 normally they invite..

Correct and in addition 1848 nominations have already been issued and mostly went to 2017 pending cases. And presently they have a huge backlog of 2018 cases to process.

Your are mixing up. NOI is not equal to nominations. They have a quota of 6600 nominations out of which 1848 already issued.

Whereas number of NOI issued in 2018 are close to 3500.

This means NOI may exceed 6600 considering unsuccessful candidates due to rejections etc...

Yes but this year they may not exceed as 1848 nominations include people who applied in 2017 since they ran out of quota in 2017 November, and they are being nominated from 2018 quota.

That is why they have put a hold on new NOI for HCP since Feb.

Ok.. by how much it exceeded last year if u know.. just to get an idea about current years upcoming trend..
By the way this year they may also exceed like last yr? Possibility?

Hi, My application is in the assessment stage. My CRS score is 438 and I am expecting direct ITA in next 2 draws as the latest draw had 441 CRS score. I would like to know if it is better to accept the direct ITA or wait for OINP nomination.

Looks like I am in the same boat as you are. However, it all depends on the timing of the next two draws. I am 438 and went on to submit the OINP application to eliminate the uncertainty of CIC cut-off scores. Let's see what happens in the comings draws, until then we at least have an option open !

HI everyone,

I have serious issue for my OINP. Kindly help me with your expert opinion.

Last week I submitted my OINP application HCP category but recently I found out that I had mistaken in filing my work experience.

Going in flash back, I was on closed work permit, Canada working in subway as NOC C title job. Holding work permit from January 2013 to January 2015 but worked till November 2014 and left Job after that. Got Record of Employment (ROE) till November 2014 from employer. Applied for WP extension but it was refused and got back to India.

After coming to India, got new LMIA and applied again, that time I showed my work experience from January 2013 to November 2014 but my employer gave me a reference letter from January 2013 to January 2015, for my full work permit period. Applied with this details and never had issue with this including my file notes. I got this and they didn't mention anything about this issue.

Now the question is, recently I submitted my profile for OINP HCP category and I showed my Subway work experience starting from January 2013 to January 2015, though in my previous work permit submission it was till November 2014. It is NOC C category work and either way I m not getting any points for this. Got My NOI based on Job offer.

Do you think this will make any problem? what should I do in this situation? Should I contact them and tell them everything?
