Need more information. Where is your wife from? Are you a Canadian citizen or PR?
She can't just get OHIP. When you get OHIP depends on whether you apply inland or outland. For outland you are eligible for OHIP 90 days after you land as a PR. For inland it is at the Approval in Principle stage, which is closer to the end of the process (which takes about 12 months).
Hi there! I'm a recent member of this forum. I found this by researching on what to do for spousal visa application. Right now I'm filling and gathering documents for our application but I have a question regarding the education and work history. Do I have to submit every certification / diploma I received for each information I wrote? Thank you so much!
What happens if we apply outland but move to Canada a few months later, we have an apartment in Canada, that is our only home, we have never lived in it, just a few nights when we bought it.

It really depends on the Visa Office, but the target is 12 months. Outland applications are typically processed faster than that. She will not be eligible for OHIP until 90 days have passed since she lands as a PR.

Hi, if your country specific requirements don’t state that you should submit those documents in support of your application, then you don’t have to. Just follow the document checklist and your country specific requirements.
