It is IP2
IP2 wording doesn’t mean eligibility or background check passed if u have jumped to IP2 directly
CEC inland
AOR 04.03.2018
IP2. 04.11.2018
MEP. 04.17.2018
Inquiry to an IRCC agent today
My Eligibility hasn’t completed and background check hasn’t started.
She quoted different wordings do not mean that you pass certain stages. Which means IP2 could still be IP1 with the same wordings and if u have only been in application for like A few weeks and in IP2 directly. More likely you are still undergoing eligibility and background check. And there is no guarantee that the next officer will go through your file
just hope for the best and if your IP1 stuck and all of sudden moved to IP2 and then you are soon to get PPR but not like IP2 directly.

I have been in IP2 since Feb 27 mass update and I agree with you,for some the PPR comes quick as officer finds OK with eligibility, BGC and security and has no concerns or else it takes normal processing time for most of them. When I inquired, they said BGC in progress and they can't say whether eligibility or security has been passed or not yet
Thanks for the reply. Now when can I expect any progress or is it just a waiting game now

it is just a waiting game now for all of us IP2 updated on feb 27th.
it is just a waiting game now for all of us IP2 updated on feb 27th.
Hey guys, any update? Why is IP2 taking so long now? I mean if one is not under SS, whats the maximum number of days in IP2 before PPR? :/
Hi Krishna,
NDVO hasnt replied to a single CSE of mine regarding the status of my application.
The only response I got for a CSE raised to CPC-Ottawa was that they dont handle my application.
The only means of communication with NDVO is via mail or CSE. They dont entertain calls.
In my case, they had called me initially to clarify on my new born and my updated medicals in January end. Then the 2nd call was 3-4 days before my PPR. This was to confirm if my new born's payment was done and other clarifications. I had missed atleast three of their calls due to a meeting. Each time when i dialed back, it goes through the automated response/IVR. They were able to contact my husband using my alternate number and they got the details from him. They told him that they didnt respond to any of the CSE because my application was almost in the final stage and it didnt matter.
If the decision is already made, you can expect your PPR soon or a call from NDVO if they need any more details from you.
@nemako - I am exactly in the same situation. I have submitted my application on Nov 12. Added new born on April 02, medical passed - April 04. After that nothing from them. I have emailed them, raised CSE as usual no response like what you have mentioned above. How do they called you? is there anything i can do to speed up. Thanks

Hi Raghul,
There is is nothing that we can do to speed up, apart from waiting. Keep raise CSE at regular intervals of 2 weeks. If they need something or would like to verify any details, they will call you up. If your passports are due for expiry, get them renewed. Since you have submitted your application very recently, I assume that your medicals are valid till Oct 2018 atleast. If you are nearing that date, get your medicals renewed.
Hallo,
So my GMCS / CBSA are mentionning that my SS result : favourables on january 21th, but my husband is also under SS as following :
Sub activity 1 :
type : Security screening
Status : Recieved by CBSA
Update date : 18/12/2018
Due date 21/01/2018
And bellow
Security screening
Previous result : Blank
Type : Comprehensive
Priority : Normal
Does it mean they didnt even start his SS ??
And wonder if you can guide me, when a person did a medical screening and exams expire do IRCC ask to re do medical only or goes through medical screening again ??
Cheers
What is the status of my application please help and
how much time will take after this ?
