Thank you for the reply. Did you send your only bio data page and it was accepted? The guide gives instructuions re translation for docs which are not in English or French and ceparate instructions re certification of photocopies. I understand that there is no need to translate passport, but why do yo
Yes, I sent only the main page without being notarized since it was in English. Same for all other photocopies of various documents in English. They're all accepted.

"You have met the requirements for eligibility as a sponsor. Accordingly, the Application for Permanent Residence for your relative has been forwarded to the visa office in CPC-Ottawa for further processing. This visa office was selected based on your relative’s home address and the requirements of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act."

Doesn't look like it, so far. I've noticed the status didn't change to 'BC in progress' for some applicants and directly went to 'complete'. May be it switches for a couple of days when they're not checking the profile.

Thank you so much. I have more peace of mind now. I called the call center. After 45 min wait the agent confirmed that they need only data page of parents passports and a photocopy of sponsor' passport. It was reassuring, but it is much better to know that it actually works. Thank you
Hi, I was selected in second round for PGS, I sent my file in Nov 2018 and received AOR in Jan 2018 and on ecas it still shows application received, I filed my application through a lawyer. And looking at my application he suggested as my brother is a student (age 25), his file can be applied under my parents as he is financially dependent on them. Hence, we filed my brother’s application as well under my parents. Now I just heard as he is overage whole application can be rejected. Can anyone suggest if we should pull his file out and not take the risk or you guys think its fine? Can file be rejected after receiving application #, and it’s been 3 months since I got file numbers. Please help. Thanks

Hi hello73. IF your brother does not qualify as a dependent, I suggest to send a 'Case Specific Inquiry' to drop him from the application immediately with an explanation letter stating that you misunderstood the definition of a dependent and now you would like to exclude him from being evaluated as an 'Accompanying Dependent'. Once you get the usual response from the inquiry that they have associated additional information to the file, apply for GCMS notes which will tel you what is going on with your file. Good Luck. Cheers !
Why hasn't this happened to anyone from PGP 2017 yet? This is weird. It's been a whole year and no one from India embassy got these requests yet? unless I am reading the excel sheet wrong.
P.S. Our file was sent to New Delhi March 23rd. I am assuming there was another batch that was well before that and those applicants also have not received anything yet.
I just noticed that in IMM5768E form, i have mixed up the dates for two rows in employment history table. What should I do? I am so worries now...please help
