Good evening ladies and gentlemen. I'm new to the forum (as a registered member) but I have to admit that I have been following the discussion since Nov 2015. I won the lottery this year (which is really strange because I never win lotteries draws etc). My package is almost ready. However there are 2 things that bother me:
1. the request for parents' passports/travel documents. Check list clearly indicates that copy of only bio data page of sponsor's passport needs to be sent. For parents' passports there is no such requirement. Did you send all pages? Were copies of parents' passpotrs notarized?
2. Did you send notarized copy of sponsor's passports?
I am looking for advice for my mother and brothers application . Apparently he has a different middle name on his birth certificate , different from the one on his international passport. On the Generic application forms, I already selected no for previous names, validated the form and sent it to them for signing and the forms are on their way back. If I change this to yes and validate again, the number in the footnote changes.
Does it matter that the last page with the signature has a different number from the other pages? Or do I have to resend the last page to them for signing?
Thts a possibility too , my Mother is here in canada but my father is still in india and he is the main applicant . But still Their file got transferred to Ottawa .
"You have met the requirements for eligibility as a sponsor. Accordingly, the Application for Permanent Residence for your relative has been forwarded to the visa office in CPC-Ottawa for further processing. This visa office was selected based on your relative’s home address and the requirements of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act."
Timeline-
Application Received- 22nd Nov 2017
AOR- 3rd Jan 2018
SA email- 5th Apr 2018

The barcodes contain primary data on the forms. I wouldn't risk it and ensure it's consistent throughout the application. These are grey areas and you never know what the officer is thinking so it might cause unnecessary delays in application processing.
Thank you for the reply. Did you send your only bio data page and it was accepted? The guide gives instructuions re translation for docs which are not in English or French and ceparate instructions re certification of photocopies. I understand that there is no need to translate passport, but why do yo
