No communication comes between DM and Oath. Mainly the interview would be indicative, either the officer will tell you all is good, wait for Oath, or he /she might tell you that they still need "bla bla"....which typically means, everything else is done except that "thing" which the officer brought up.

If you want more details, you can always order NOTES. They will indicate the exact details.

I passed the test in Scarborough on January 24, and still waiting on DM + oath. Any idea how long it may take? I read here that some got DM three days after test. Is that something habitual?

did the officer ask you for anything? did he say you were approved or when to expect the oath???

I did the test in Scarborough on January,08 but ECAS still showing In Process!

If it's been that long, then for sure your background check is still in process.

Hello , I would like to ask a question,sorry if I missed out the answer, however according to IRCC processing time definition, the processing time of 12 month done on DM status. Is IRCC have some time guidelines for ceremony invitation?

Here is a note from IRCC website:

"How are processing times calculated?
We calculate processing times from the day we receive an application to the day it makes a decision on the application."

OMG !! ...that means its perfectly fine for them if Oath goes beyond 12 months after AOR!

"Your ceremony will normally take place within six months after you pass the test."

So, no mandatory definition on that.

I have no idea because I have already a job with government and my screening checks done by them in detail!
