Likely it gives them an idea of when the next ceremonies will be held and perhaps (even if falsely) gives them hope they will be on the list for an invite? I know that is what I would be interested in, if it were me.
Yeah, I know. However, I can't help but notice that people are possibly reading too much into the information provided. (i.e. - looking at number of ceremonies in a given month compared to previous months and reading something from that) We simply don't have enough information from IRCC to accurately assess that level of analysis properly. These thoughts, conjectures really, are then taken as some sort of barometer from which people get false hope.
If anything, the information is far more likely to lead to more despair as people wonder why their applications aren't being sent to oath invites when there are x number of ceremonies offered that month! If you'd like further proof of this, just look at what happened when someone jokingly started making reference to which mail clerk signed for the applications in Sydney!!!
guys my application was delivered on Oct 13th and after almost 5 month it is now in process (IP). any idea how long it takes to be invited for the citizenship test?. I am in Waterloo area. thank you!
