hii...anyone pls answer me..any idea about it.after refusal we file appeal in oct 2017 1st week.dec mid we receive blue book n mid Feb 2018 we receive info that our case is selected for ADR..any one have idea how much before they issue date for adr.or if in Dec blue book when adr expected?which month?thanks

Does the AOR and Sponsorship approval come together or in a separate email? Also, if done through lawyer would he get it or sponsor/applicant?

i didnt get an specific email about sponsorship approval. i just saw it updated on ECAS and they sent email that they have received my file so AOR.

your lawyer would get that info and forward to you. make sure you stay on top of it.

after PR he can leave but you have 5 years to complete 3 years or residency requirement in order to get citizenship. if he fails to do that, they can possibly revoke his PR by declining to renew it

It's 2 out of 5 for PR retention and 3 out of 5 for citizenship... To lose status of PR.. they could refuse if not in Canada for 2 out of 5 years.. not 3 years

Do we need a valid pr card to apply for citizenship, i read somewhere that there is no need to have a valid pr. The only thing is that you can not enter canada if you don’t have a valid PR.

October 2016 applicant

Alhamdulillah. Long time coming. I am an October 2016 applicant. I notice not much has happened for other 2016 applicants. A family friend told me that when you start making money then thats when they process your application faster because they don't want more poor people in Canada. I don't know if thats true or if CIC somehow watches your bank account, credit score, etc, but I started working recently so maybe it helped.

We were worried about the security check since it'd been 7+ months since RPRF. We did lots of wazifas last year but nothing happened. Some tahajjud too. So I decided to increase spiritual methods. Recently, I decided to do a manaat of fasting (rozas) for PR approval...making dua for it at each iftar/sehri...its been 2 months of fasting weekdays while working fulltime overtime (didn't fast weekends to keep my sanity). Fasted the day we got passport request letter too out of shukr. Fasting is by far the strongest wazifa. It improves you so Allah improves your situation. I made sure not to tell anyone of my fasting (this post is first time). I never told my wife I was fasting or else she would feel guilty. I stopped fasting after we got passport request letter because my mind and body couldn't do it anymore. Also about 6 religious people made sincere dua for us in Makkah and Madina in places where duas are answered in the past few weeks and we did big sadaqa feeding people 2 weeks ago. Also we didn't tell anyone when we got the re-medical request to prevent nazr. Tell people after its all done.

So if you are really stuck then I suggest you try the above.
