Hi dear if there is no flag with your application it will come soonest. Please hang in there. You could request GCMS notes, I never did but it will help allay your fears when you know exactly whats going on

I was only asked in January 16 to send my sponsors pif and inform CPC about our new born.... this I hv done but still hv not heard from them. And I was told my file will be reviewed in 30days from the day I received the message. It will be 2 months by tomorrow but still hv not heard from them. Am really worried

When AVO request for additional documents, they don't stick to thirty days, from experience of others, they get back around 90 days.
Also, cos of the peculiarities of your application, they would want to give it more scrutiny.
You can apply for GCMS, it might allay your fears.
However, all would be well.

To those who had additional requests sometimes late last year, apart from Kwamtin, has AVO gotten back to you?
Most of them were February applicants.

For AVO applicants,
Nothing will change on GCKEY, till application is approved.
With PPR, nothing changes, background check and eligibility would be the same.
You only see a difference, when you get approved, and PUM drops later.

Actually my GCKey status changed after medical to say medicals passed and also in additional documents it changed to not applicable so it is different for everyone.

I was referring to post PPR.
it's normal for medical and additional documents to change at that point.
However, post PPR, eligibility and background remains the same, till you get PUM.
That has been the recent pattern with AVO.

I believe so as it is required after application filed and AOR and also when PPR issued.

The document section changing cannot be fully explained.
Sometimes, it's a reaction to extra documents sent voluntarily via webform, by applicants,or from AVO requesting and receiving.
However, prior to when I got PPR, it changed to reviewing of documents, and after, we uploaded documents, it changed to Not applicable.
Hard, as it may be, the GCKEY is not a true reflection of your application, I never requested for a GCMS, but would request people do, because AVO is becoming something else.

Did you pay your RPRF of 490$ initially, with the $550 for processing?
If you did, ignore, if you didn't, then you need to pay and include the receipt.

Correct girl! We are all paid up, I think my hubby saw that info when he clicked on the VAC website and assumed he has to pay lol.

After asking you the question i went to examine the email closely and was like, who asked you to pay anything lol
