Hey guys, we just got a response for my wife from CIC requesting some additional documents along with the Scheduled A background form.
1) Client Information. Family Registration Certificate

She is from Pakistan and I don't think she has ever made a FRC because she has never needed one. She always used her B-Form wherever it was required of Birth Certificate.

My question is Do we need to goto NADRA office and get her a FRC. What are the steps in obtaining it.

Also I read on the websites that you can get an FRC issued with your spouse or siblings. Since I'm not in pakistan right now. Is it okay for her to get one that involves siblings. Any help with this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

FRC means family registration certificate and this is not linked to her mother/father or siblings..

its just a document of NADRA which says you are the lady are both husband/wife .. its pretty simple to get from Internet however to get that first she needs to visit NADRA office and update her CNIC to include husband name in record .. if this is not done and you are in toronto then its a big problem as far as I know because NADRA offical at pakistan wants husband physical presence.

The same thing you need to do i.e. update your CNIC records in NADRA database.. i did it mine from the Vaughn consulate and it costed me around 130 CAD as they made a new NICOP ..

once you both have the new nadra card with updated records then online you can apply for FRC and get it in few days ..

hi just to correct something, if you are not with your spouse then you as the husband needs to update your NICOP first to set yourself as family head and then your wife goes to nadra office and nadra adds her user you since now you are family head

Congratulations! My date of application is June 2017 and it was Received in July 2017 so would I be considered a June applicant or July? Having, said that, still waiting on a background check. Application forwarded to LVO since Sep 12 2017, No response since then

You’d be a July applicant. The next response you should receive (if all goes well) is a prearrival message soon.

It means that youve passed the eligibility stage.next should be background check and then ppr.
Which month applicant are you?
