This is so frustrating. My life is in hold because of immigration plans.
Took ielts 3 times last year and did not get clb 9 for 0.5.
This year I finally got it on february 1st, however my certificate arrived on feb 22nd, one day after the last draw...
I am sitting on 448 until 19th, which is my birthday. After that i will be 443...
443 should get you through.
ITA is just going to be the start mate,
there is even longer waits and frustrations ahead.
Many times in between you will start hating to go to Canada.
But eventually you will get PR, most likely with that score( unless some serious fraud)
Which I am sure you have not. So end will be good.
Tedious step of documentation? I call BS. You already have the documents you need (ECA and IELTS), and the info is exactly the same as what he already entered.
I did my husband's profile and I swear it took less than an hour to fill Reaout and double and triple check it. It's not hard or tedious at all. Definitely not worth paying someone for that. If you have access to your current profile, print it out and then you just have to copy all the info into the new one.
Really? The online form is a b1tch. It always gives error of incompleteness. You have to have a level of desperation to complete the form. I many times almost gave up just for the effort of filling up the form.
Then police certificates takes time, especially I have lived in multiple countries.
Then for me arranging money in my account was a pain and a financial loss as I keep all my money invested.

Touche, exact same case with me. Gave ielts 4 times due to 0.5 in writing. My TRF arrived on 22nd feb morning, what a bummer. And now will lose 5 point after 17th march ( another reason of disliking being old ).

But her consultant was charging extra just for creating the second profile (that's what I was referring to), not for the PCC and all the rest. And since she already has one profile, the consultant would only have to copy everything from the first one, they don't need anything extra (which is what the consultant said to justify the big charge).
I know everyone's experience is different, but I found the online form very straightforward, I only got a a message of incompleteness once, right after creating it in the language area, I went back and it was now showing an option for french. I just chose "no" for both of us, saved and exited. Easy peasy.
Re: Arranging for funds, that's not something a consultant can do for you anyway. PCC, depending on the country, you might have to do it yourself as well. Consultant or not there's a lot of work we have to do ourselves.

Hi there,
Ask your consultant to withdraw your EE profile and send you the confirmation letter. Explain that you decided to apply in future and you have other plan. If you get confirmation then that's okay but if you don't get it then you will have 2 profiles and you're allowed to have just one profile. Hope your consultant will be cooperative person.
Good luck!
That's fine. Once you receive your ITA and get to the document checklist upload a letter stating that you're a CEC applicant and that you are not required to provide proof of funds.
