Apologies in advance if this is not the correct forum to ask these questions.
I got my ECA today and will qualify if I update it in the profile. I may land at a score of 460 +
Would appreciate if someone can answer my questions here -
1. I had 3 employers and have the job description from the last two employers with an experience of 5 years , is it mandatory to upload job description/experience letter for my current employer ? If I remove it from my profile, will it cause any issues ?
2. We are not claiming any points for my wife's work experience, should we include this in the profile ? Or remove it and add it under work history ?
3 Ideally, when should we go for medical ? I have a 2 years old daughter, does she need medical as well ?
4 Does being a diabetic affect the application? Do they refuse it or ask you to go for additional tests ?
5 Do we need proof of funds from all the banks ? or is it sufficient to show a couple of banks that would help me achieve the minimum total in the application ?
1 - As long as there is no effect in your eligibility you need not mention it. Once you receive an ITA you'll have to add it in the personal history section but no proof of employment will be required.
2 - No need to include it and same approach as #1 Post-ITA
3 - You all need medicals with that score you can expect an ITA soon. That being said, some clinic ask for your ITA letter in order to do the tests.
4 - No issue.
5 - The couple banks that meet the required funds are sufficient.

It will be great if anyone can answer these questions -
1. Under the NOC Code 2171 employment requirement , its mentioned that a computers degree is usually required. However, at the time of employment I did not had a degree. Does it matter while submitting my job experience ?
What do I need to fill here under primary occupation section in the profile ?
" Date the applicant first became qualified to practice in this occupation
If the "primary occupation" is :
any other job, this is the date they first obtained the minimum education or training stated in the NOC description. (Note: if the NOC only states high school, this is the date they graduated.) "
I did get my diploma in July 2008 which is not related to computers and was not recognized by ECA,
However, I got my job offer based on the diploma. Should I put the date for July 2008 in this section ?
I am really confused, I got my bachelors degree in science June 2011 , and Masters degree in May 2014
2. Does anybody know if immigration physical in US covered under health insurance ?
In other words, do we have to pay the fees out of pocket ?
hi all,
plz give me your valuable suggestions on following matter
i have entered a experience of totally different NOC in EE profile creation, but that experience is not claiming any points and now i am working in another field and claming that experience(4 yrs)
1-On the basis of that previous experience i have applied for Fsw in 2010 but that case was refused bcoz visa officer was not satisfied with that.
2-Now post Ita i want not to mention that experince in work history (but in EE entry i have already put that in work history)
so my question is that can i change that experience to personal history in post ITA,
thanks in advance.
Hi pls got Oinp nomination last month a d waiting for ITA. Sadly no draw yday. Pls is there any effective WhatsApp group I can join in preparation for the process? Will really appreciate a response. Tx
Hello guys.....I am hugely disappointed with my situation...leme brief you about the same.....would appreciate your valuable comments on the same....
1. We recd our ITA on 7th February in Dubai.
2. We approached a useless agent on 20th February ( we didn't know they were useless as one of my other friend had got PR to Australia from them, so thought they were good....but turns out it was just a one on fluke they got this!)
3. They linked our profile to theirs....after a week, we get to know their reputation and decided to do it ourselves....so we request them to unlink our profile and they said okay.
4. After unlinking, we get to know that it takes 28 working days from CIC to unlink the profile....it is their latest update on CIC apparently which they too weren't aware of :-o so considering our CRS is 469, we are sure we will enter the next draw and decided to decline the invitation through them. We lost a good AED 3100 as they said they won't refund us either!! Frauds!
5. They sent us the confirmation letter of our profile being declined and we have already created a new one and was expecting the draw to happen yesterday, which never did
Now the question is....since they have declined the invitation but the unlink take 28 working days, will our current profile be affected in the next draw??? And idea when the next draw is going to happen? And POF they said fo4 3 pax was around 84000 AED....but on their website, it shows 19080 CAD which is approx AED 65000.
And anyone from Dubai here???? Once we submit all documents, how long does the PPR takes approximately???? A sad sad situation here I must say
Hello,
1. My middle name has a dash & I just saw that my in my spouse's passport that dash is missing, is this a major issue? Should I write a LOE for this, I am the principle applicant.
A. Its not a major issue but better to give the explanation for the error
2. We received ITA with a crs score of 462, but after filling up the post ita form crs score is 470,
my previous level of educ point was 119, now 126
A. As per below equivalency (Bachelor & One yr post graduate) then your education points must be 119 not 126.
spouse's level of educ 9, now 10.
A. Spouse education equivalency is double bachelor's degree, so the points can be claimed are 9 not 10
my WES eval : bachelor & one yr degree
spouse WES: bachelor & bachelor
The entries are same for pre & post ITA, so why the points increase? I am puzzled. @TanakaM
@SantoshAdugani , thank you for the reply. Here is what I chose for my second degree entry: Level of educ: Masters degree or professional degree (my university certificate terms my degree as Masters)
Was ABC awarded a Canadian degree, diploma or certificate for this period of study? No
Has ABC had an Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) within the past five years for this degree, diploma or certificate? Yes
Level of education (Canadian equivalent) shown on Education Credential Assessment (ECA) report: One year program at a university, college, trade or technical school
This is giving me a point of 126.
If I change my Level of educ to One year program at a university, college, trade or technical school, the score is 119.
I thought they calculate points according to Canadian equivalency, but it doesnt seem so as both times ECA entry is same. So should I put One year program as my level of education even though my certificate calls it a Masters degree ? Btw this is post ITA form. @SantoshAdugani , @TanakaM
I am thankful to everyone on this forum who helped me out in everything from applying the file to getting the information on initial days as a new immigrant in Canada.
I have been offline for quite sometime now but I believe I should share whatever knowledge I have gained till now in terms of moving to Canada.
You guys are free to ask/discuss any questions related to new immigration to the land of your dreams, I'll definitely try to give you the best answer possible.
Dear Friends ,
I received my ITA and a quick question regarding Medicals ,
I am in Netherlands and my family ( Spouse and 2 Kids) are in India. We found the respective doctors and Clinic as per CIC guidelines.
Question :
* Do i go first for the medicals being the primary applicant , then advise my dependents to go for their check ?
* Do we all receive different UCI numbers or the same ?
Your feedback is much appreciated .
Thank you
